A tragic tale of a girl's love of food... A spoiled child with unpredictable taste in food, finally gets what she deserves. Within a mansion on the far side of town, lives a girl named Susan. With no parents to raise her, she relies on servants to tend to her every need. Her peculiar taste in food, is a constant problem for her maid and butler, who cannot figure out what the girl desires. More often than not, Susan is never quite satisfied with what they prepare. Seeking love and affection like a princess within a castle, she finds pleasure in the endless torment of her servants. Yet that is not enough to keep her happy. Madness consumes Susan, driving her servants to commit the unthinkable. About Lazy Susan is a unique 6 minute short film that combines computer graphics, and live-action in a fully narrated, fantasy tale, in which the orchestral score, and bold imagery take the viewer through a modern take on a classic silent film, of the German Expressionist era. Filmed within half a day, entirely on green screen, and in post production for several months, the filmmakers with a very small budget, made a small film, with lots of character. |
